Sacré Coeur is a micro edition batch of 100 bottles, hand-poured, blended and bottled. Each label is hand done by a master calligrapher and individually numbered 1 of 100. No two are precisely alike.

A fragrance of cathedral air, antique resins, and meditative stillness, Sacré Coeur is a sacred blend of resins, woods, and shadowed sweetness. It takes the atmosphere of a cathedral: incense, candle soot, warm wax, and centuries of devotion suspended in the air, and gathers it as a relic of aroma, a private chapel carried on the skin.

The sacred heart, from which this fragrance takes its name, is a symbol of boundless love and mercy, often shown wounded and encircled by thorns. Sacré Coeur holds this quiet paradox. Smoke and resin soften into tenderness. Darkness carries warmth. The fragrance becomes a meditation on forgiveness, for others and oneself.

Built the old way, slowly and deliberately, this perfume is composed of rare and antique materials long used for ritual, prayer, and solace. Frankincense from Oman rises first, like breath into a vaulted space: bright, lemon resinous, almost translucent. Frankincense contains farnesol, a natural molecule long associated with stillness of mind. This fragrance then folds into myrrh’s sepulchral bitterness, anchoring the scent in shadow. Styrax and labdanum bring the slow smoke of burnt offerings, balsamic, leathery, warm as old prayer books. Cypress and juniper thread through like dark green air in a high nave. Cedar steadies the whole with a dry, architectural calm. Vanilla absolute and cypriol arrive late, ambered and earthy, like the last breath of incense clinging to wood. When these materials meet, they do not shout. They listen. They warm. They become luminous.

This fragrance is formulated entirely from 100% naturally derived materials and blended in non-denatured sugarcane alcohol.

We have made an exception to our return policy for this product. This 100ml bottle will come with a 2mL sample included so you can try it on before opening the 100ml box. The full-size perfume is returnable within 30 days from the date of purchase, as long as the 100ml box has not been opened. If the seal on the 100ml package is broken, we will be unable to accept returns.

APPLICATION: We use plant-based natural ingredients, which means our scents are light and sheer. To increase staying power, you’ll want to apply the fragrance periodically throughout the day.

LAYERING: We also encourage you to layer two to three Heretic fragrances not only to increase the overall intensity but to help you create your next signature scent.
