Our mission is to show the provocative side of naturals and the dirty side of clean.
We believe that nature is incredibly sensual, so we work with these raw ingredients to create dynamic fragrances that explore the unpolished version of these plants and flowers—from dirt to stem to petals, with all their organic imperfections and earthly beauty intact, resulting in a vastly different experience than what people are used to when wearing traditional synthetic perfumes.
THE ORIGINAL HERETIC
Douglas Little is the Founder, Perfumer, Creative Director and driving force behind Heretic Parfum. Since childhood, Douglas has been bewitched by fragrances, and through decades of experience, has learned to create scents that are nothing short of magical. From the earliest days of his career, Douglas has blended and launched exceptional fragrances using natural materials.
WHAT MAKES US A HERETIC
We call ourselves Heretics because we’ve chosen to disrupt the status quo and do something different. Working with naturally-derived botanical ingredients, we create vibrant non-gendered functional fragrances blended in organic non-GMO sugarcane alcohol so you can experience the Ayurvedic benefits of the powerful plant materials.
Using ancient perfumery traditions and handcrafted in small batches at our Los Angeles studio, these natural fragrances are always vegan and cruelty-free.
HOW TO WEAR NATURALS
Heretic fragrances lay light and sheer on the skin because we use natural ingredients and because we do not use the chemicals and additives used by standard perfumes to artificially extend wear. To increase staying power, we recommend re-applying our fragrance periodically throughout the day.
Layering: We also encourage you to layer two to three Heretic fragrances not only to increase the overall intensity but to help you create your next signature scent.
