I seriously ADORE this candle. Admittedly, Hinoki and Frankincense are favorite fragrances of mine generally, but this iteration of these woody scents is particularly AMAZING.
Indeed, Hinoki Temple has probably replaced Slightly Bitter as my absolute favorite HERETIC candle; PLEASE release a perfume of Hinoki Temple as I would buy a larger bottle immediately.
One a related note, if any of you are familiar with Douglas Little's earlier enterprise, D.L. & Co candles, this candle reminds me somehow of the OG version (the high end one wrapped in beautifully pleated tissue) Blood Orange in the BEST possible way. I may be misremembering the Blood Orange, though Hinoki Temples does seem to have a similar citrus-spice note. (Albeit, the D.L.&Co. candle was more orange-y and this one more woody & natural, as one might expect.)
Whatever the case, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the HINOKI TEMPLE candle. (BTW, I bought this candle in the set with the Hinoki Bath Salts, which I liked but did not love; the salts have that smokey (almost burnt) scent which the candle does not.) You should buy it!
